Up to chapter 27, I was really enjoying this story. I love the ML and while I found the naivety of the MC closer to unrealistic, I could get over it by pretending that she had been really sheltered by her parents or just honestly, not thinking very hard about it. But then chapter 28 happened. Nope. She did something that was a level of dumb that blew my mind. It is super disappointing because I was into the story and hoping it would be voted and everything. But that just knocked me for a loop. I literally could not figure out why she decided that was a good idea. Or even an option. It was just so stupid. I honestly don't think I can keep reading. This made me dislike her. The MC reminds me of Bella in Twilight. A blank canvas with little personality that just exists. She had some potential and I really admired how she did things on her own and didn't use her family name and wealth, but this just made me want to grab her shoulders and shake her! I would not recommend this book unless you have a high tolerance for idiocy. Am just so disappointed! Really.
I'm praying this book gets picked up!!!! Give the book a chance although FL is dense it's actually really beneficial since the ML never misunderstand her and knows she's just naive. They have a age difference of 8 years which showsss, since he's much more mature and treats her nicely. 10/10 would recommend. Bonus there's a mystery component which makes the story really really engaging and nice to read... please leave a review
