As a princess who could not wield magic, Princess Daphne’s only value to her kingdom was her arranged marriage. The task was simple, but when Daphne was kidnapped and brought to the cold mountains of Vramid, she realized that she was in over her head.
She had heard of these cursed mountains before― rocky terrain, freezing temperatures, and the land was ruled by a man feared by many within the continent.
King Atticus Heinvres, the blood-thirsty ruler of the North.
Even though she had never met him before, tales were spread of King Atticus’s ruthlessness. Some said he was a monster, others claimed he was the devil himself, but whatever the story was, everyone knew of the man who had powers beyond anyone’s imagination. He could topple armies and crumble nations with just one wave of his hand, aided by what others rumored to be a cursed obsidian ring.
No one outside of Vramid had ever met the fearsome king before. Not until Daphne.
However, upon meeting the formidable man, Daphne found out that the king might not really be the monster others had claimed him to be.
In fact, what was hidden under that obsidian shield could just be a diamond in the rough.

[Excerpt]
“Now… where should I put you both?” he asked casually, not expecting a reply. “It’s regretful that I only have one chandelier.”
“Underneath my bed? No, no, too dirty. My dust bunnies don’t deserve this,” Atticus mused to himself. “The mantlepiece? How about the vanity table? I suppose if I lop off one of your heads I could mount it over… Wife, which head do you want to stare at while you do your hair?”
“Atticus!” Daphne screamed. “I don’t want any heads! Let them go.”
“Fair enough.” Atticus shrugged, and flicked his fingers.
There were two identical cracks as both necks snapped at once.
Daphne gasped, horrified. This man, her husband, had just killed two men with a flick of his finger, as though he was snuffing out candles.
“I told you to let them go!” Daphne cried out.
“Yes, I let them go,” Atticus said. Then, his eyes darkened. “To receive divine judgment from the heavens.”

Finally, I am leaving myself a shameless author review! SBTRK is a slow-burn romance with lots of political intrigue in a world rife with magic and mythical beasts. There are schemes, fights, squabbles, and an overarching adventure mystery that will unfold with time. Details are scattered everywhere, so do keep a lookout for them! Atticus and Daphne's romance will also start in a rather unorthodox manner. However, things will eventually evolve for them and it will become obvious that not everything is separated into black and white, but rather, the infinite shades of gray in between. Come join the family and set off with me on this journey. I hope you will enjoy reading it as much as I enjoy writing it!
More than 100 chapters in, and it's time for finally my review. So the story starts without any backstory or the world description. The leads both have amazing chemistry and their banter is absolutely entertaining at least during the first half. But, even after 100 chapters you will not find any major event taking place. The plot still had to commence and there are still a lot of mysteries surrounding the leads especially the ML Atticus. 100 chapters and still can't figure out whether he is cold, affectionate or what. Daphne on the other is a neglected princess who is kind hearted but sometimes acts stupid or you can say her kindness is her biggest foe. The author definitely seems to have plans for this to be a big and long story considering all the development up to 100 chapters is still not significant. If you want to read a story with some mystery surrounding the characters and some slow romantic development between leads then go for it. When you read it you will definitely feel the peace is slow but it will keep you intrigued. The author is definitely putting some hard work in it. Good luck to the author and, hoping this won't get dropped.
"Stolen by the Rebel King" is an enthralling tale that takes readers on a captivating journey through a world of intrigue, passion, and forbidden love. The story centers around Daphne, a princess who is kidnapped by King Atticus, the enigmatic and charismatic king of the North, an enemy of her father's. The chemistry between them is palpable, making their forbidden love story all the more irresistible. The descriptions are rich and evocative, painting a clear picture of the landscapes, cultures, and characters that inhabit this realm. The political intrigue and power struggles add layers of complexity to the narrative, keeping readers guessing and eagerly turning the pages. The pacing of the story is well-balanced, with a careful blend of action, romance, and suspense. Each chapter leaves you craving for more, as the plot twists and turns, taking unexpected directions that keep you guessing. Definitely recommended if you're into slow-burns and enemies-to-lovers romances.
Oh. My. God. I've only read up to chapter 7 (still reading) but I just had to run and leave a review. This book is amazing and extremely captivating from chapter one. I literally could not put it down, I didn't even notice when one chapter would end and another would start because I was so drawn in. We've only met the characters Daphne and Atticus for a bit but their personalities and the way they interact are already on full blast. Your writing style is so good and the storyline and use of foreshadowing...amazing. I cannot wait to see where this story takes me. Amazing work, Author!
The synopsis sounded good but the FL does not act like anyone who’s been kidnapped and married off against her will. There are no true attempts at escape, struggle or even resistance which would make her more credible. Instead all she does is think about how good looking her kidnapper/captor is, although none of his actions indicate sincerity at this point. I get love stories starting from Stockholm syndrome on WN, but this FL isn’t acting like a princess who was taken against her wishes and made a forced bride. Or even a regular woman who’s been kidnapped. Still have hopes for the magic parts of the story though! But her reactions make the impending romance seem really insincere/contrived
Really interesting so far. It is still early for detailed review but one thing for sure is the couple has undeniable chemistry. Want more chapters!
Your book disrupted my life because I couldn't put it down and now I want more. Thank you author for writing this book I can't wait for more and more places for me to put my comments 😂🍿
Funny, witty and keep your toes. Wish you have more coins to keep you read more chapters.
I don’t usually leave a review unless I know the book is worth reading every page. If you are looking for adventure, mystery, magic, romance, tragedy, redemption, and comedy then Stolen By The Rebel King is your book to read. ❤️ Strap in for a rollercoaster of emotions as both MCs traverse through a world filled with magic, kingdoms, and fantastic beasts. You will fall in love with the character building, the elaborate world and a few spicy chapters to keep you on your toes. The only negative thing I can describe is the antagonists in the book. (But hey… that’s excellent writing when the villains get under your skin.) 😅
this story is amazing but also totching❤️🩹
i am looking forward to read it all quickly!!!
Highly recommended this book. It's not only intriguing but funny too.
---> to all comment-readers: I really recommend this book !Without any backstory, the story starts in de middle of a kidnapping.🤔It immediatly captivates to know more about who, how, why, by who,...?😱Then the reason why stays mysterious and unclear while time, the storyline and feelings develop. The world background is a bit hazy but it contains magic tools and magic abilities for some people.🤕The relationship and conversations between the 2 main charachters is fun to read and emotions are nicely described.❣ I LOVE THE STORY SO FAR 😍 I'm intrigued to know and read more about how the story will go !PLEASE UPDATE LOTS AND FAST❤❤❤
I absolutely love this book. Thanks for the amazing chapters, highly recommendable
