Unchained Dragon (WoW Fanfic)

I really hate it when author nerf mc. 1 month and he didn't learn any offensive spell or healing spell. It make no sense when u know, that he is a dragon with power to sence and manipulate mana to a high degree.

It's a story that I shamelessly will vote 5 stars, it's been on my mind for a long time to write a story on the setting of Warcraft, a rich and vast world where even a single zone can make you spend days thinking about, hope you guys can enjoy this journey and give your feedback ;)

Nice! There really aren’t enough wow fanfics. Advice: don’t make him stupidly OP super fast it kills 99% of all stories. Azeroth is huge in scale so travel time will be long and cities need to be scaled up to match. If I’m a 10,000 year old night elf I’m probably not going to get my ass handed to me by little boy blue out of his first decade, super power or no super power experience is learned with time. Keep it up and don’t drop.

Writing Quality: 4.5/5. No complaints, its good. Great compared to most novels on this site. Updates: Unknown. Gave it 4/5 as I read 17 chapters in one go. Story: 2/5. 17 chapters, not much happened, a lot of retelling of WoW lore that got tedious very fast for those that know it and those that don't will still not understand. Character: 3/5. It's okay. 17 chapters and not much is known. World:4/5. Fan fic, used a known world but made attempt to introduce it to the readers and other aspects of it. Overall. I stopped reading and would give it 3/5 if I'm generous. The biggest impact for me to drop it is the MC. He is...annoying. It seems like the author made it his purpose to paint the MC in the worst way: Lazy, stupid, bored easily, complain a lot, weak, incompetent. The worst part the author introduced another character in the first chapter in what I feel as the only reason so she can carry the MC. I really hoped this would be a good novel, the writing quality is great but the MC, I just hope he dies so we can get something better.

I love this novel, it is well researched, well planned and the implementation is sound. The power of the characters suits the pace of the story and stems to make the novel more realistic and less out of place. The MC is sort of fleshed out but the author needs to adjust the earlier chapters so the details go together better, the love interest is cute, the romance is fine and overall the story is really good.

A very decent Warcraft story. No fast story progress, characters not very OP. It's rare to find Warcraft fanfic where the writer knows the plot and really love this world. But there are significant cons here. First, writing style is a very bad. I don't even mean grammar. Sentence building is just disgusting. The author is trying to fit a bunch of thoughts in one paragraph. We do this, we go there and then we get that... C'mon that's not just hard to read, but make a very good novel Second, MC powers. MC have a legacy and powers of every dragon kin, he is strong and bla-bla-bla, but he cant compare to female lead just because she is a super-duper genius, so he trying to activate his system so he can compare with her.... what the h*ck?? This sh**ty system spoils all logic and events. In each novel, if the author puts the system at the head of the plot, then this simply shows the author's cas*ration as a writer. I really hate all of that "system" shit in mostly fanfics.

I like the story so far! recommended read, but it's better if you have a good knowledge of the world... mine is quite rusty and I have to go to the wiki to remember a lot of things...

To potential readers: Don't miss this masterwork. Before dropping this novel read at least the 30 first chapters. The chapters are fairly short so it won't be too long. You could despise MC at the beginning (I did) but he matures quickly (I gave 5 stars for characters building). I don't want to spoil, just go read it. To Author: Keep the good work and thanks for this amazing story.

the story is fine its just the mc hes boring and uninteresting honestly his companion is more interesting. She goes through progression training, the mc doesn't he just stays the same doesn't really grow like at all

Pleasen don't drop it.......it is a breath of fresh air in the fan fic genre and your story is also quite amazing. Especially for vanilla players its a quite amusing story and for wow fans the history and study you put in is clearly visible. I'm proud of you. Keep up the good work. Loktar ogah

I read a few chapters. The only thing that can't keep reading is that the MC is brain dead more than a Chinese fanfiction.
