It was a dangerous era. Extraterritorial ferocious beasts occupied 90% of the living space in the world, while humans could only survive in a small space. Fortunately, some of the surviving humans awakened to genetic martial arts! Breaking the shackles of one’s genetics was the foundation of cultivating martial arts. Lin Feng, who was born with congenital disease, could not experience a breakthrough. However, by some fateful encounter, he awakened to the ability to merge genes.
[Wild Bull gene successfully merged. Strength of genes has been improved!]
[Mutant Earth Dragon gene merged. Earth Dragon Scales have been unlocked!]
[Planet Behemoth gene merged. Ability to survive in outer space unlocked!]
Lin Feng broke through the shackles of his genes and cultivated martial arts, becoming the most powerful person in the universe!
Hopefully, this novel is a better version of "Legend of the Mythological Genes", because it had a great premise, but became rushed and lost all of its focus towards what made it good. It also became super racist and nationalistic. This novel seems to have a similar premise minus the mythological part. I'll give it a read when it comes out.
Name: 永恒武道 Author: 月中阴 Lv.5 Chapters: 1974(4.36 million words) Status: Completed
Hey webnovel when are you translating the new novel from the author of the legendary mechanic. Hey webnovel when are you translating the new novel from the author of the legendary mechanic.
The funniest part of the synopsis is the inversion, humans are the plague that occupies the territories, sterilizes the soil, scavenges animals that inhabited it for generations. The only reason we haven't destroyed more of the planet is because we are just as destructive to ourselves. The best part is that with the privatization of water, the overproduction of plastic and the human capacity to exempt themselves from responsibility, it will not be necessary to have a hero of nature to recover space, extinction will take care of that.

Ok so mc is weak and finds metal ball which fuses with him, he instinctually knows how to use it, ok. Makes some sense if you think magic. Then mc gets a gene from food rather than killing an animal, unique. I like. That was chapter 1, from there it goes downhill rapidly. We are introduced to our first trope in chapter 2 or 3 in which we learn that the loser mc is friends with the martial school goddess, at this point every comment i read is people complaining or saying they drop because im leaving out some other reasons this is one star. Anyways, loser mc friends with goddess at start trope, check. Heres where the author makes a bigger mistake, 2 is not better than 1 if people hate 1, especially when the second goddess you add instantly after is the mcs little sister and the guys at the school are jealous of your "luck" with women when ONE OF THEM IS YOUR SISTER!!! Not even stepsister, and i know that wouldnt justify things but a lot of these authors try to justify with that excuse. Also mc stupid and him fighting Du Quan was clear plot force and will lead to cockroach young master being born just cause mc was stupid and chose to fight him when he had no need to, only a made up benefit which even the mc said that he coulda learned at any moment (the wolf technique). I hope this stops some from reading, this is just as bad as legend of the mythological gene and is just chasing after the old fame of it before it got nationalistic.
Writing Quality: It's not too bad. Story Development: Filled with tropes that don't make sense, was literally mentioned a chapter ago that their family was rich and was basically the Kingpin of the area so why wouldn't they have bodyguards? I get the MC, he's feeling restless since his "body" is telling him to fight but I don't get why people would act that way towards him when they know for a fact that his days are numbered. Character Design: Aside from the MC, everyone is cut-outs. Updating Stability: Can't even rate that since this is on trial read. World Background: Won't rate it since it's only started
Ptui! This author's style is all about selling his integrity for immediate cheap thrills. Everything is retconned as soon as possible, even his body shape. It even happens from paragraph to paragraph; he'll clearly use a technique to boost his damage and then the next sentence he'll say "he didn't even use a technique!" Tangentially related, the name of the novel is Permanent Martial Arts, but the MC avoids martial arts like the plague. It's all just punching as hard as he can with no respect for martial arts. Only with the most dismissive and cynical eye could someone say that martial arts is only about punching hard. There's even some exposition about how martial arts is more than just hitting hard and then he continues to just do that. World background is pretty cool, it'd probably be like a 4 if it wasn't inconsistent. Superman exists as a fictional character. There are westerners and Asians despite it not being Earth. Technology is all over the place; it's just advanced until it's not for impact reasons. Character design is okay. I like the romance because it's so muted and feels kind of real. It's very reasonable for young people to not even know why they like each other. Specifically, it's nice to see other people have relationships. I actually don't mind harem novels, but my problem with them is usually only the MC can get all the best girls. It's great to see an MC with friends and that those friends have their own lives. Translation quality isn't bad. It's very readable with only some minor issues. Despite all of it's problems, I'm still reading >.>
This is more like a copy of "swallowed star". It's the same apocalyptic setting. Just like in the SS world, there is also some form of protection barring people from going into outer space. There is also a spaceship that has a robot that talks just like in this. I have read the raw till 177, but it's all reminding me of Swallowed Star. Does anybody else feel the same?
Personal i think that the novel is going to far, when mc leaves his family to go in space, for me this novel starts to smell bad, why mc left his family, one stupid mc
Of all trial reads, I love this novel the most. I am giving this review after reading 406 chapters in raw and believe me, those who purely love action, cultivation and adventure genre, this novel is worth reading. Good work author!! 👍👍👍👍
good story,I read it MTL.But after ch 630 he forget about his wife and family. As the story progresses there is not even mention of his family , even he comes to home,he just wants to seclusion than again new adventure .

it is a very good story...I like it at the beginning and middle part of the story....but at the end...it just start to drag..
679 chapters in: everything is good. Very structured, well written, good pace, stable character growth. Conclusion: so far it is worth it to spend your coins and invest your time on this novel. I always have to stop myself from getting even the extra five chapters because I always want to know what happens next.
