"Step forward," he ordered, his steely gaze landing on her.
Madeline swallowed as a chill went down her spine.
"You don't belong here," he snarled, making Madeline want to run despite her intuition which told her not to.
Making a face, he narrowed his eyes and spat, "You're a human."
Wide-eyed, Madeline stared back at him, her eyes meeting him before she felt something tighten around her pinky. Her heart tightened and began pounding faster than it did before.
It flickered, but it was clear what it was.
Everyone stared between them, back and forth in confusion. Whatever it was, it could only be seen by Madeline and Xavier.
'With a stranger? Are you kidding me?' He growled.
Her heart raced, she was thinking the same thing.

Still short of chapters to read (only 3 chapters) but nevertheless, a good read. Xavier and Maddie seems to be a funny and romantic couple. I'm looking forward to see how they will be able to finally accept each other as mates XDD

This book is amaing, though I can’t spare much details about it considering that there’s only 3 chapters released so far. I can guarantee that if you have a thing for werewolves you’ll love this book, and I can’t wait to read more about Madeline and Xavier. Looking forward to it.
The story is still quite short but I can definitely say it’s going to be great! Xavier seems interesting and very “beastly” but I can’t wait for him to show his human traits when he will eventually open up 😍 good job author

There are only a few chapters, but I enjoyed what I read so far. especially the banter between Maddie and Xavier. It's cute. Writing quality is good, and updates are consistent. I can't tell about other things since the novel is just starting. I have high expectations for this novel, though. Good luck to the author and give this story a shot!
The characters are cute and the story's premise is interesting - but I found it a bit slow and the writing a bit confusing. I assume this is just a very, very slow burn book - but there are entire chapters where there are only 1 or 2 sentences actually spoken between characters and all the rest is them talking to themselves in their own heads. That said, I'm still interested to see how this story develops - and the male protagonist seems especially sweet and I want to see if he gets what he doesn't even know he wants.
As far as I can see Maddie and Xav are the next Trending couple. Ah, what do you think of a human mated with the alpha of the pack? When I first read that ... I didn't find it unbelievable rather I was expecting a lots of mysteries and lots of laughter and hot chemistry ofcourse that I am getting. 50+ Chapters are out and I have to read the all...but I am so ready for it.
An interesting read with a hot alpha. The writing style is awesome and the characters are well built and intriguing. I can't wait to see where this goes!
