On their wedding night, Zhi Ruo was scared and nervous. It had been hours that she was sitting on the bed awaiting her husband thinking,

"This is the first time I will be meeting him...Shall I run away?"

Looking around warily with her bright eyes Zhi Ruo thought again to convince herself, "Anyway he will not be able to find me, after all who marries without meeting even once"

Convincing herself Zhi Ruo had just stood up from the bed when she heard the sound of door opening completely startling her. Quickly going back to her original position she sat down with rapidly beating heart.

The door opened and a handsome man entered:

Qing Shan moved towards the bed with a steady pace that was neither hurried nor slow.

Zhi Ruo: What are you doing?

Qing Shan: What a husband should do...

Fighting with the steak on the pan Zhi Ruo answered with a smile, "Cooking for my husband."



"Is it good, husband?"asked Zhi Ruo with coquetry

Shoving the black, completely burned steak inside his mouth Qing Shan answered with a subtle smile, "Yes wife. It is the best steak I ever had. It is amazing. No chef can make it better than you. My wife is the best."

Grabbing her bowl of cereals Zhi Ruo proudly said with a sarcastic smile,"Ofcourse, I had to make it best. After all my husband should remember to keep his distance from other women. Eat...eat...Shall I fry another one?..."

"Y..yes wife"saying Qing Shan started eating the completely burnt, tasteless steak without wasting anything.

The moment i read the title i already Assumed that this is a doting husband novel with a mysterious FL, but the more i read the more the story gets interesting..is very different in a very nice way..althougt at forst i got distracted with oir authors POV but thankfully it was taken out.. i really love this story..very much recommended..πŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œπŸ’œ Just curious though..will this take lots of chapters?like hundreds maybe?..

The mere fact that she is not a weak woman ut a badass one and a fighter i loved it already!!very rare do we see nkvel here jn WN with this character.. The story really catches attention.the plot is so good also..pls ckntinue to update more.😍😍😍

I hate rape and stupid male who doesn't trust fl, having mistress. But I don't think in your story I have to worry about those. And the leads r lovely. I must say ur novel doesn't lacking anything. Love the story line and was very into it. Then i hit the "waiting to release chapters" phase when i got caught up. Very dissapointing. When someone controls the release and stops me from being able to read as i like, i start losing interest. This is falling into that. To wait only to get 1-2 chapters is monotonous and im starting to lose interest just because to fill my reading time, i started a new book... that is completed. I then firget where i was at and what was happening here in this one, therefore i have lost my connection with the characters. Sadly, I'm on the verge of just giving up on this book because i cannot read how much i want at any given time.

The story has potential but it needs revisions and go through editing and proofreading. The many grammatical errors and a lack of punctuation marks is decreasing the writing quality. The dialogues also need revisions and could be made simple and straight instead of trying to verbalize every small thought. Also, the pacing is too quick. The story is progressing rapidly without even establishing the characters thoroughly. Take your time and paint the main leads fully and then slowly dive into the story. All the best.

That was an interesting story and the starting chapter got me hooked up with the novel. Author did a great job coming to descriptions and the writing quality is also good. Story development is also well in pace. Author did a good job and keep up the good job till the end dear author. I'm cheering for you!!!

When I read the summary of this story I find it boring coz I thought the FL is kind of weak AND Just a submissive one towards her husband.. I thought wrong coz this story is so amazing and exciting to read .. This story makes me curious about the story behind their past.. It's makes me want to read more😁. The saying "don't judge the book by its cover" it's true coz the content of this story is a amazing one to read😊
