Imagine being forced to live, after death, as incorporeal bodies trapped in a vast space of nothingness for thousands of years, with nothing to do but exchanging past memories with other cohabitants (read: weirdos). Everybody wanted out, but there was no way to leave the Void...
Until one day, a young man was finally summoned, as a powerful but reluctant mentor, by a bubbly and motivated but completely naive young girl. Baiyi, finally out of the Void, was the only one who could save all of the other 32 souls from their prison and his summoner might just be The Key to their freedom.
However, Baiyi had to use the techniques and abilities the other souls had taught him throughout the years, and together with his own extensive knowledge of anime and game tropes from his shady and dangerous past as an otaku, to face the biggest challenge of them all: training the clumsy young girl he was forced to partner up with… into a competent sorcerer!
Unfortunately, this story is nothing like Long Live Summons. It is about a news editor who became a Void Traveler, traveled in the various worlds and absorbed the memories of other void travelers (the author tells the readers these in the first two chapters, so not a spoiler). Then he is summoned by a girl in a magic school, and the story starts from there as he solves her issues. I found the writing quite bland as the fantasy setting needs one to suspend disbelief, yet the author just tells things instead of showing how the events actually happen. It is readable, but nothing really stands out compared to other fantasy/ summoning novels.
Website : qidian china Views : 560thousand Rating : 7.9(153) Chapters : 484 Status : ongoing Word count : 1.50million author level : lv4 No of works : 2 Year : 2017 If you are interested, my reviews are in almost every novel with atleast 3 likes.
Is it just me or am I the only one that think the red shorthaired girl in the cover is a girl? Why do I think she's a girl? Just look at her clothes and you will notice it. So, are the MC Male or Female? Regardless, the word summon in the title is enough for me to vote for it, so vote for it too everyone! Since it looks interesting. Going to give 5* for now since I look forward to the novel.
Pure trash. 30 great Voidwalkers who were legends when they were alive behaving like perverted otakus, disappointing. 15 Chapters in and there is no progress at all
I liked this novel. I really did. I wouldn't of minded it going premium, but immediately upon going premium, 100+ chapters that were previously open to read got placed behind spirit stones. So **** this book, **** the greed that leads to this type of ****, and **** everyone involved with making 100+ FREE FUCKING CHAPTERS GOING BEHIND A GODDAMNED PAYWALL.
Boring so far.... The little girl is too naive.. OH really. it a ancient time , where there is always a war going on. how can the little girl be a stupid crying baby. Im already confuse about what going on. At least she should have a ball stand up for herself.
zzz sudden premium without notice although the story quite good but the response make it deserved only bad review ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Wow this is boring, read the first chapter and lost all interest 140.......140.......140.......140.......140.......140.......140.......140.......140.......140.......140.......140.......140.......140.......140.......140.......
If anyone haven't noticed it yet, the background is certainly a sharingan , and by the fact that the MC looks like gaara , maybe the author is a NARUTO fan???? Hahahahha Gonna try this one.
Just wanted to say I voted for Gaara, not the synopsis. I mean really, what can we tell from that thing. For all I know, he was a demon accidentally summoned to earth from another world and his ambitions are to develop the world's most popular cafe. Well, Daoist Jie cleared things up already, but still - 3-
Good story overall but not worth paying for, the progression is slow and get boring fast, not good that it went premium in a day without any notice and locked free chapters behind a paywall. But that’s normal on this website.
U need read before turning down a title, this 5 star to balance the ratings. But, u can choose to read da status guy. And why a review need to have more than 140 damn word, ffs.
The first chapter can make you think that this LN is good .. But thereafter, it is a total deception. The main character is absolutely not original, the other voidwalker are just excuses to release jokes of the type "LOL, they are perverts" in each chapter (literally) and the summoner is just a girl without any specificity. .. The scenario does not advance in 43 chapters, other than the beginning, the only interesting thing we had is a fight with a rich girl (who has a 90% chance of finishing in Tsundere) and it lasted 3 chapters! !! The ambient universe is nonexistent. But reassure you, it does not matter because you will have a chapter every day :/ In short, I do not understand how it can be noted 4.2
Would have been better if this story was an epic adventure insted of a slice of life. All that potential wasted. The perverted void walkers get annoying and I'd rather have more training and adventure then anything else. I would have preferred him to be summoned by someone who is a bit more of a genius who he trains until he gets strong enough at the end of the book to bring the voidwalkers back
Unfortunatly, the author tend to spend half of each chapter having the Voidwalkers making a bunch of reference to popular games and anime, and most of the rest describing the female characters in great details (especially their legs). I'm afraid this got boring fairly quickly.
