McKenna is a strong-headed defiant girl who went for what she wants no matter what people think.
she believes there is something called love and that it only made people stupid but she still longed for it.

But then she met Jason, a multi billionaire that swept her off her feet quite alright but instead of running off into the sunset, he dropped her inside a gutter.
Now, McKenna has to pick herself up and become better and show Jason he made the worst mistake of his life by breaking her heart.

Jason walked towards the entrance Thokozani mentioned and met a woman there. She was an albino, tall with brown boots and yellow dress. Jason couldn’t make out her face from the distance he was standing.
‘Are you the new help?’ Naya asked without looking up. She was placing plates on the tables.
‘No…I am …’ Jason was puzzled that the albino had an accent
‘Don’t just stand there, start setting dinner plate on the table. We have less than five minutes before dinner’ she said without waiting for Jason to introduce himself.
Jason dropped his briefcase by the door and carried the pile of plates near the window and started distributing across the table. When he got close enough to her, he saw her face. She wasn’t an albino, she was white. And she was stunning.
She looked up and stared at him.
‘You don’t look like a help’ Naya said and her face was expressionless.
‘Probably because I am not, I am Jason and I am your new boss’
Naya stared at him and blinked twice.
‘Do not forget to place the spoons beside the plates, boss’ and she went back to what she was doing, leaving a puzzled Jason to stare at her in shock.

The book has great potential and I feel like there's passion that the writer put in both characters in the story, I love McKenna and Jason maybe stuck up in chapter one, but he definitely gives a chance at something more than just words and general actions like he did with chapter one so I will be sticking around until the end.
this is a wonderful story, suspense filled and entertaining , I still can not believe it has ended. I really enjoyed me self reading this novel. thanks precious for this piece.

A very good story with an interesting plot. The writing formatting and grammar could use some minor improvements. The characters are great and the humor is solid. Dialogue is great. I like the African side of this story, it really makes it stand out. Love scenes are well described and you keep it interesting throughout. Also feel free to check out my fanon spin-off story Avatar: Macai's Journey if you like Action/Adventure stuff (with some romance).

I liked the protagonist because she seems to be a down-to-heart person, which is not so common in novels. She's loveable in the little things. Unfortunately she's chosen as a toy for a playboy, but I hope he matures once he sees what wonderful woman she is. Promise us, author, he'll not mistreat her too much! I found the pace of this story good and I liked how the events developed in a non forceful way. Although I had problems understanding where the novel is set, it's just me not being well travelled enough LOL. I usually don't like tags announcing the change of POV, when there's such a thing, but it's a peeve of mine. The author writes in a sensible manner, not delivering too much and spoiling the surprises! Good job, good luck!
A love story between a secretry and boss. AWesome A story set in Nigeria. Interesting! A rich guy poor woman trope. Great! This book has all the thingis I want and it's great. The writing quality is excellent. I grabbed some popcorn and read it. It's like watching a drama. Great work!!! Looking forward for more chapters!

I must say that this is a very awesome piece of art , it is very captivating and apt at the same time, the writer did a wonderful work in writing, I can boldly give it a five star ratings.
This is one of the best romance novel out there if you are into that kind of thing ............................... ................................ Jason and mckenna's personality are fresh and not shallow........... It is going to be a good book after the author works out the kinks.....I have added it to my library. Great book!!!!
