She has come a long way.
Orphaned, born a weakling, and being the infamous good-for-nothing of Azure Dragon Country. Gu Ruoyun was the shame of the proud Gu household. Falsely accused of a crime she did not commit, she was betrayed by her family and beaten to death by her own grandfather. But life took a fateful twist on that very day — she was revived.
Newly awakened, she is now the Master of an ancient treasure that resides within her body. Precious cultivation pills, treasures beyond her wildest imagination and spiritual beasts, all within her grasp... She is the apple of the eye of all under the heavens, including that of a mysterious, handsome man.
Now she only has one goal — to conquer the world.
There's only two types of characters in this story: 1. "You b!tch/wh*re/b@stard/*insert swear words*, I'm gonna kill you because you ruined my life for simply existing" 2. "I've never met you before but I'll support you with everything I got since you're my sister's husband's son's uncle's grandfather's wife's daughter. Here have a free building just because" The characters are simply fascinating. I took a shot every time a new -200iq character appeared, now I have alcohol poisoning

The characters are total blockheads. The translation is good, but the story itself is disappointing. The first few chaps were okay, and I'd really love to see the MC get stronger and have her revenge. But all her enemies are consistent in being idiots. All characters are poorly developed. The dialogues contradict each other through and through. All in all, it is unbearable, so I'm dropping this. Better spend my time with other novels.
Translation Quality - 4 out of 5 stars Stability of Updates - 5 out of 5 stars Story Development - 1 out of 5 stars (0 is not an option) Character Design - 1 out of 5 stars (0 is not an option) World Background - 1 out of 5 stars (0 is not an option) Combined score = 2.4 out of 5 stars which is quite misleading considering the actual quality of the story, which is non-existent. All the characters are quite one-dimensional (as of chapter 92 which is as far as I could force myself to go), including the MC. I would be okay with this normally, but each character seems to fit into one of two or three categories. If you're going to make one-dimensional characters, at least vary the dimensions. Don't make 90% of them tropey, selfish, annoying, excessively dumb, privileged types, and the other 10% secretive, mysterious, conveniently selfless for the benefit of the MC types. Don't forget the random, deus-ex-machina superman who is both super handsome that his beauty would literally drive people man but is also conveniently an amnesiac that completely-by-chance meets the MC and imprints himself on her. By the way, everyone and their mother is trying to get revenge on someone or something. Weird way to motivate each person -_-. Don't forget that most of the male characters are super beautiful/handsome where the main thing that separates them is different color pupils or maybe their hair. There was a guy with peach clothes which I could appreciate. The girls had a small bit of variety which was at least a little better than the 'jadelike beauty' I am used to dealing with, but I couldn't paint a clear picture of anyone except maybe 2 persons. As for story development, it was alright in the beginning: classic reincarnation from a bitter death that motivates MC to pursue revenge. I was cool with that. Like I said, little lame that everyone else is also wanting revenge on everyone and their mother for some reason, but whatever. The problem lies in that she draws attention from everyone and everything almost immediately upon reincarnation, and she never suffers for it. She claims to want a low profile, but does nothing to maintain one. And people keep making bets with her where she wagers little to nothing at all, and the other people swear their entire livelihoods. Completely outlandish, By the way, there's a lot of "I cannot explain **** to you because you're still too weak to learn about it" from many different persons which would be forgivable if it were one or two things from a single person. But every beneficial person to her is just keeping secrets for some reason even though they probably don't have to. As for World Background, she went from one "mainland" to another, and I believe that means she traveled to a different continent, but despite that, we know nothing about any cities or kingdoms or their culture. There's some sort of royal family, but I don't know what the royal family is ruling over, maybe just have the name of one or two of them. There are sects, clans and businesses as well, but their true power/status is either shrouded in mystery or just said to be "this stronger than that" in an ambiguous/vague manner. I think the greatest disappointment for me concerning this book is that the title and cover are great and the synopsis wasn't bad. It's rated 4.4 (at the time of this review) and read by so many people with many glowing reviews which misled me completely. I was quite excited to give this book a try and was completely disappointed by what I read. Is this the worst thing I've ever read? No. But it honestly comes quite close. Should you read this book? Probably not. If I had infinite time to live, then I wouldn't mind wasting a few days to read this book because even though the plot and character designs are bad, it can feed my reading addiction. But considering I have a finite amount of time to spend reading books, in my opinion, it is a waste to use it on this one. If these categories improve in the later chapters, I don't mind someone replying to this post and telling me that. But if it doesn't, please let me know.
Yayyyy!!!!! Another vote again today for my EEWC..... hurry up and release fast. I'm and other fans of EEWC are waiting desperately.... (>_<)

I love how this novel for 3 weeks has been 2nd in votes and somehow gets surpassed by a new novel instantly near the end of the week its getting ridiculous
1. Character's personality. One word. Hoodlums. That is what I can think of to ALL of them even the main character. She is not any better in level of mentality with the villians. They are all about revenge, domination, being aggressive and aim for the kill without restraints. If they want it, they got to have it by hook or by crook. I don't hate revenge plots, but I expected that the main character at least have some kind of graceful and noble traits (usual expectations for hero characters). They are all egoistic psychopaths! 2. Character development. Terribly badly written. Like the time in chapter 12, when the main character challenged an elder pharmacist. She demanded an unfair bet conditions while she admittedly has absolutely zero knowledge with refining pills (base on chapter 9)! Let's get real. Even if she is an arrogant genius, she at least had to have a grasp of the basics of refining! All she did is throw a prescription base on her medicinal 'knowledge' (from her master a doctor which was mentioned on later chapters) to someone to make into a pill. A pill's effectiveness is base of the cultivator's skill. She didn't do any refining and then she won? BS! 3. Way of writing. It is a frigging INSTRUCTION MANUAL! Too mouthful. Many unecessary written details that goes in circles. Everytime something is being described, I feel I'm reading an instruction book than being told a story. It feels something 'like' this: [The villian comes running towards protagonist with a dagger.] Villian: [shouts] I'm going to kill you with my dagger! Protagonist: [screams] Ugh! Your dagger hit me. 4. Ease of reading... The first few chapters are HARD to read because of bad construction of words. It is like reading something from Google translation (which is bad). I tried to continue reading anyway, thinking that maybe the translation will get better. Unfortunately, it didn't. I skipped a lot of chapters. It just made me cringe forcing myself to keep on reading. Too many usage of exclaimation points, and it feels they are all shouting and screaming too much.
The story is good. It is about the typical transmigration scenario, that the weak and good for nothing MC turns to be overpower... I think that her spiritual beasts are the most OP instead but ok...ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ The romance is not the key point until now! The ML appears sometimes and then disappear for a long time... and there are so many characters that like our MC but she doesn't care about them at all!!.°(ಗдಗ。) Oh and the enemiesー they are so annoying! You will really cheer for their deaths! ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ The translator makes a good work and is cheerful! The bad part is that the chapters pass so fast and doesn't develop as much as you want! But... I enjoy the reading and hope that you'll like it too!
The story gets exciting every chapter. The translation is very good too. The development of the story is great because of the female protagonist and other characters

Another XQY work, another story full of pretty much the same tropes. Major difference between this one and EAA is that the plot, despite relative similarities, is slightly more developed than EAA. Slightly. As in, less jumpy and a bit more focused, though that's just my impression as I have not read EAA in a very long time. Otherwise, it's very much the same. Super OP ML with ridiculous cultivation, shameless FL who really does need to reign it in sometimes (but she gets away with it because she's FL with two meters of plot armor), and enemies that have negative IQ and are *really* idiotic. All in all, mediocre reading fodder for when you're quite bored as it passes the time pretty well, but it's really just another disappointing XQY work that could have used more development and thought in its initial concept.
