Abigail Essendson, the prideful daughter of George Essendson, Duke of the Forchestire Empire, had everything, money, respect, a strong image in high society, and loving and caring parents.
But she made a mistake, she accepted the proposal for marriage by the archduke, Gerard Wiltshire, cousin of the crown prince.
The man wanted nothing but money to strengthen his power so that he could attack the crown prince, which eventually he did and took over the empire.
And that was the fall of Abigail’s family too, who was loyal to the crown. Her whole family was killed in the massacre. Her brother sacrificed his life to save hers.
She blamed herself for everything as she was the one who chose Gerard over the crown prince. She trained hard, as a strong knight she was. She tried to kill Gerard by herself, but alas, she wasn't that strong to handle his whole army.
"Even if you will ever be reborn, you will never be able to defeat me. You and your family will die from my hands." Gerard laughed as she was taking her last breaths.
"I will. I will come back later to take revenge and will snatch everything back from you." These were her last words when she died.
But not like the books she read, she did not go back in time. Instead, she was born again in the 21st century as a doctor, but the guilt never left her alone. One day, as she tried to save a little girl, she got hit by a truck and was transmigrated back to her previous life as Abigail.
At last, God finally listened to her pleas. After she woke up, she was back in her previous life when she was 16. Would she be able to fulfill her wish this time?

Really good story opening and the revenge thing is so intriguing. I'm excited to know, Abigail's way of doing her revenge, I'm anticipating it, slowly but deadly😏 and how she keep her family safer this time.

Now I know why this story is so good! The author who wrote one of my favorite story, Villains also get second chance is also the one who wrote this. Haha...don't blame me if I instantly dive in reading this novel, it is really good and it makes me so excited. Now, something will test my patience waiting kidding aside, I really like the plot of the story, and the main lead and the prince who makes me curious. I don't know why, but I was just really curious. Over all, this is highly recommended!
I love villianess stories...I belive most of the villianess are created by circumstances....If one can go back and introspect he can correctt his mistakes and make up to their loved ones... I loved the starting...where she hugged her step sis...Because for me it showed that she back for her loved ones rather than revenge... But still i hope she will return everything's that she receives ...be it love or hate... Good luck author...❤❤❤
this story had all the elements one could look for. good plot, slow and interesting development and good character design, i just love the story
There is something about the author's way of storytelling where she can give you bits of information in the chapters but not enough which makes you want to read and figure out, keep you guessing. The FL is relatable. she had that underdog, powerful aura around her character and I really like that. Sometimes, we can look like a villainess to other people by the way we act but that didn't automatically mean we are bad. We can't please anyone. I can be a villainess and heroine at the same time depending on the eyes of the beholder. And I love Author Nishi she works so hard and is good at her job I'm not even joking around. The lady is very intelligent. Please support this author, make her feel appreciated for her efforts. <3
The story is too delicious, that until the last chapter updated, the story may seem to be about revenge but it much more about some one who just live with no self awareness until all things collapsed, everyone fall into an hopeless situation because of her but when giving a second chance she find her purpose and something to live and die for. But she will never become her true self until the weight in her heart is lifted, until her revenge is Fulfilled
